In most cases, it works to connect automatically to your e-mail account in Office 365, all you need to enter is your email address and your password. Then the mobile phone searches all the settings itself, logs in and lets you choose whether you want to synchronize only e-mail or even synchronize the contact list and/or calendar.
Sometimes this does not work, especially if you have an older device and then you need to enter the following information by hand:
Server: outlook.office365.com
Domain: [left blank]
Usage Name: The username you received from us
Password: Your current password
SSL: Yes (to be enabled)
Security or lock code: If the mail server requests that the phone / plate needs an extra lock code to access mail / contacts then accept (this is an extra security feature because data sent between phone / plate and server is usually sensitive)
